주제: 기술 발전이 사회에 미치는 영향

기술의 발전은 우리의 삶에 큰 변화를 가져왔습니다. 현대 사회에서는 많은 사람들이 스마트 기기와 인터넷을 통해 더 편리한 생활을 누리고 있습니다. 예를 들어, 정보는 손쉽게 접근할 수 있고, 소통은 빠르고 효율적으로 이루어집니다. 그러나 기술의 발전이 항상 긍정적인 영향만 미치는 것은 아닙니다. 일부 일자리에서는 자동화로 인해 일자리가 줄어들고, 사람들 간의 직접적인 소통이 줄어들기도 합니다. 따라서 우리는 기술의 발전을 현명하게 이용하고, 그로 인한 부정적인 영향에 대비해야 합니다.

The development of technology has brought a huge change in our lives. In modern society, a lot of people benefit for their more convenient lifestyle by smart devices and the internet. For instance, the information is approachable easily, and the communication is fast and efficient. However, the development of technology doesn’t always bring a positive impact to us. Within few job fields, the automatic system has diminished available job positions and caused less direct communication in person. Therefore, we should utilize the development of technology, while preparing any possible negative impact from that.

Therefore, we should harness the benefits of technology while also preparing for any potential negative impacts.

여기서 쓴 '편리한 생활을 누리다'라는 좀 더 추상적인 문맥에서는 through, via 가 더 적합하다.

* through: 뭔가를 이용하여 진행되는 상황. 좀 더 '과정'이나 '매개체'를 강조하는 느낌.

예시) They communicated through email.

* via: '어떤 경로를 통해'  through 와 비슷하지만 좀 더  공식적이거나 경유한다는 느낌.

예시) They traveled to Paris via London. 런던을 경유하여 파리로 갔다.
